About Watching TV Tonight
An independent blog about one question: what should we watch tonight?
Watching TV Tonight publishes short, opinionated lists of films and series, plus practical guides for a better night in front of the TV. The aim is simple: less time scrolling, more time watching.
How we choose
Every list starts with films and series that large numbers of viewers rate well. We then narrow it by hand to a small set that covers different moods, so there is something for any kind of evening. For each title we explain what it is about and who it suits, and we avoid spoilers.
About the scores and covers
The scores shown on this site are user ratings from TMDB (The Movie Database), recorded on the date shown on each article. Film and series covers are also provided by TMDB. This website uses TMDB and the TMDB APIs but is not endorsed, certified, or otherwise approved by TMDB.
What we don’t do
We do not host or stream films or shows on this site. To find out where a title is available in your country, check your streaming apps or the title’s page on TMDB.
Sponsored offers
Pages on this site carry an offer for Streamly4K, a paid streaming subscription. These blocks are labelled “Sponsored”. Watching TV Tonight has a commercial relationship with Streamly4K and may earn money when readers subscribe.
Our lists are written separately from the offer. A film or series appearing in one of our articles does not mean it is available on Streamly4K, so check its catalog before you subscribe.
